My name is Rashad Williams, and thank you for taking the time to read this introduction to my company KombuchaYum. Several years ago I was introduced to kombucha by a health conscious friend. After researching it’s history and use I decided to try it and see if I might experience some of the benefits I had read and heard about. To my delight, my overall digestive function began improving. Over a period of a few months of regular use, chronic health issues I had been dealing with began to diminish in severity and I felt much better and continue to do so to this day. Live probiotics are beneficial to support health. I began crafting my own at home, and developed a keen desire to learn how and why variations in the different stages of brewing affected the finished product. I wanted something different! I also wanted my brew to be 100% organic and Non-GMO, to be the most supportive of our body’s needs, and attempt to achieve a unique balance of having great flavor without acidy harshness, a rich complement of probiotics, and a lighter “palate feel” overall. And so KombuchaYum was born. As Washington state’s first producer of USDA Certified Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified kombucha, I am very pleased to offer a uniquely crafted “artisan style” product in distinctive packaging and with a truly refreshing taste experience.
